"I came to this establishment recommended by a family member. Little did I know I’d have an easy way in and a hard time out. The agents are very helpful in giving out information and trying to help. As much as they can. But prices for my policy resulted higher than with my original company. I was told by them that local would be much better than having to deal with the company through an app… and they even said they had agents there that would always be at the end of the line and in person to answer ANY DOUBTS we would have. They even offered us a completely free device that helps see if there is any issues with the wiring at home to prevent a short circuit. The device was to be sent later (after two weeks). Which is totally fine. And we would have waited. But After careful consideration and doing our math on how much more expensive this policy would be for us and we could just simply purchase the device and save money on our own… we decide to cancel with them instead. NEVER DID OUR MANY CALLS GET ANSWERED! 🤔 Another agent from another State Farm had to help us make a three way call to get a hold of them. 🤦🏻♀️ Where is the speedy service when we need it?! We popped up on their caller ID … was our call not important after we were already customers paying over a Thousand dollars in auto and home insurance per Month?! Not a good sign. Well, finally after I got a hold of them I requested they cancel my insurance with them and I was told I’d receive a document that I had to sign and send back. That was yesterday 11/05/24 and I still haven’t recieved it today (11/05/24). I mean how long do emails take to get to someone once the send button is clicked? NOT A GOOD SIGN. Perhaps it’s not the agents themselves. I am more inclined to think that since the system already locks down our phone numbers… it just throws off our calls elsewhere. Instead of to the regular to be answered calls. Well I already notified them that I am not going to leave my prior existing insurance company for them. Texas allows only one insurance policy (not duplicate policies)… so it’s on them if anything goes wrong. I have screen shots of my calls done to notify them, email that I sent to cancel and left them a voice message when they wouldn’t answer. Be aware of what you get promised and offered. Not worth the hassle even if you get a place recommended by a friend or family member unless they make it right and respond to your questions fully and fix things."
